November 4, 2020 - As we go to press, on the morning after the election, a few things seem clearer while the big question has not yet been answered.

The Democrats have held on to a majority in the House, the Republicans appear to have held on to a majority in the Senate and the vote for president is still too close to call.  How did we get here and what do these results mean for the syndicated loan market?  In order to put some meat on the bones of the election results, the LSTA, as part of its Virtual Annual Conference, is hosting a discussion with political analyst Charlie Cook, editor of the Cook Political Report, next Tuesday, November 10th at 4PM.  You can register here.  The LSTA’s Phillip Black, Associate of Research and Public Policy (and a former staffer on Capitol Hill) will moderate and delve into the factors that determined the outcomes in the elections, what they portend for the future and how they might impact the markets.

Please join us for this incredibly important and timely session.
